• JUSTIN TOLLIVER

Based in St. Louis, Justin takes a unique approach to editorial storytelling, developing a style that seeks out overlooked narratives and reframes them with fresh insight and empathy. His work often centers around everyday people and industries, using these stories as windows into broader cultural themes. Dedicated to preserving diverse perspectives, he seeks to connect audiences from all backgrounds through the medium of documentary film.

This will be his second feature-length documentary, coming off the heels of 2018's “The Saint Louis Browns: The Team That Baseball Forgot.” Often viewed as St. Louis' second team behind the perennially favored Cardinals, the Browns were more than just the lovable losers. The hourlong documentary produced for PBS station KETC, and narrated by St. Louis native Jon Hamm, earned numerous local and national accolades including a Clio Sports and Midwest Regional Emmy nomination.
